How does a Thread Lift work?

Two separate components of thread face lift produce the lifting effects of this non-surgical face lift. In the first part, ThreadLift™, sutures are used to loop around or "lasso" fixation points on the sagging brow and cheeks.

In the second part of the ThreadLift™, tiny barbs on the threads provide additional lift and shaping by providing resistance when tightened.

What technique is used to place the threads?

Anchored threads are inserted with a hollow needle into the deep fat of the droopy facial elements, allowing the physician to position and lift and shape the brow, cheeks and jowls. At the completion of the procedure, the threads are cut short so as to be completly undetectable. The lift effects are immediate and the risk and recovery minimal.

One of the amazing features of the ThreadLift™ is its adjustable lift feature. As you continue to age, you may return to have the ThreadLift™ adjusted or tightened in any, or all of the regions with essentially no downtime!

The results of the ThreadLift™ are immediate. There is a noticeable elevation and contour shaping of the brow, cheek, jowl and neck. The degree of this non-surgical lift delivers much of what might be achieved with a traditional surgical facelift without significant downtime.

The most common question patients ask about ThreadLift™ is if the threads will be visible following the face lift. The threads are placed deep below the skin and are never visible. After the post-procedure tenderness from the treatment subsides, you will not even know they are there.
