Lipodissolve for Spot Fat Reduction on CBS 12 in West Palm Beach

West Palm Beach CBS affiliate WPEC featured Dr. Robert Cooper treating a patient with Lipodissolve as an alternative method for reducing unwanted fat.
Lipodissolve, also called lipolysis is an injection-based treatment which is not currently regulated by the FDA but is widely used across the country as a fat melting treatment. Dr. Cooper says, "It's not a mechanical suction, it's dissolving of the tissue by injections," which leads to the question, "where does that dissolved fat go?" Reporter Claudia Shea said, "Keep in mind, this procedure is not regulated by the FDA, so the ingredients used in Lipodissolve may be slightly different depending on the doctor. Lipodissolve treatments, cost between, one and two thousand dollars." Dr. Cooper assures that Lipodissolve is "safe, as long at it is performed by someone trained and licensed in medicine."
