As a board certified dermatologist with special interests in ethnic and cosmetic skin care (Hispanic, African American, and Native American), blistering disorders of the skin (bullous pemphigoid, pemphigus, dermatitis herpetiformis), psoriasis and biologic therapies (Raptiva, Enbrel, Amevive) I have helped patients look their best.

After a number of years of practice in New Mexico where skin cancer is very prevalent, identification of malignant and pre-malignant lesions such as melanoma, squamous cell carcinoma, basal cell carcinoma, and actinic keratoses are an important part of my every day practice. Through Mohs micrographic surgery, 99% of patients are cured.

Dr. Will Richardson attended Appalachian State University, Pembroke State University, the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and Elizabeth City State University. He completed college Summa Cum Laude and went on to pursue his career in medicine.

Dr. Richardson graduated from the East Carolina University Brody School of Medicine in 2000, following course work at both Harvard Medical School and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Dr. Richardson completed his internship in Internal Medicine at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, South Carolina, and left to specialize in Dermatology at the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque.

During his residency, Dr. Richardson became a published specialist in Native American Skin Disease in conjunction with Howard University. After extensive residency research and experience in laser surgery and Mohs Surgery, Dr. Richardson moved to Fort Lauderdale, Florida to pursue his dream of owning his own medical office.

He is currently the staff writer for City Smart Magazine and joined the Syneron Medical Aesthetic Laser team after extensively researching the remarkable technological advances made by Syneron in laser medicine, known as eLos.
